Candles

The first set of custom designed candles from Beeall Designs.  The Six Inch Oak Stick Candles, seen above, inspired the Ten Inch Oak Stick Candles seen below.

One Oak Branch was used to prepare the mold for Six Oak Sticks.

The Middle pair of Oak Stick Candles, above,  is available exclusively at the Oakland Museum of California shop.

The third pair of candles, above, is made from the base of the Oak Branch.

Six Oak Sticks

We’re very excited about our most recent collection of candles,  Six Oak Sticks were created from a single Oak branch.  These candles were designed for the Oakland Museum of California Shop.  Please visit the Oakland Museum from January 31, 2015 – September 29, 2015 for their special Bee Exhibit.  You’ll be able to find our candles and other wonderful Bee products in their shop.

More Candles From Beeall Designs…

We call the white patina on older candles “bloom”.  It grows as moisture leaves the wax.  If we want to remove it we put the candle into a sunny window or warm it up gently in our hands.

Beeall Designs has bees wax candles available for sale.  We use commercial molds and molds of our own design.  If you would like to purchase candles please send me an email Michelle(at)BeeallDesigns(dot)com, call me 415-255-6433.

When beeswax is burned, it emits negative ions in the air. These negative ions help rid the air of pollen, dust, mold, toxins and many other pollutants. This feature makes beeswax candles ideal for allergy sufferers. Beeswax candles are naturally scented from honey and flower nectar.

Candle Info:
*Candle wick should generally be trimmed to about 1/4 inch. Long or crooked wicks cause uneven burning and dripping.
*As the candle burns and the walls soften you can either push the soft wax walls into the center wax pool or let the candle burn down with a wax wall. It is up to you.
*Burn away from drafts, open windows, air vents. Don’t leave your burning candle unattended!
